The purpose of this Animal Physiology lab manual is to offer a guide for students to learn and apply physiological concepts through hands-on experiments and activities.  Students will have the opportunity to work with living organisms along with dissecting preserved specimens.  These living and preserved specimens are examples of arthropods, bony fish, amphibians, and mammals.  Students will develop hypotheses, collect and analyze data to form scientific conclusions.

Various lab protocols were developed from iWorx Systems, Inc in order to utilize their software LabScribe to demonstrate physiological concepts, such as muscle physiology, neurophysiology, psychophysiology, fluid balance, and thermoregulation.
